Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just a PSA [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was introduced to double cleansing when I was 32, using this Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil, and I can confidently say that it has changed my skin more than any other product I've added. I'm 43 now and I've tried sooooo many others. It's still the best. It has the perfect amount of slip, it's a pleasure to use and worth every cent. Using a foaming cleanser alone (even if you use micellar water, beforehand) traps makeup, sweat and grime behind: because oil and water don't mix! I've recommended this to so many friends and family. It doesn't strip your skin, which is great for mature or dry skin, but also ideal for acne prone skin, because oil attracts oil….so it gets everything off. Then you just follow with a foaming lathering cleanser and wash ALL OF THAT away. If you get acne, it's so important not to strip your skin because your skin will overcompensate and you'll end up with this dry/acne situation. . I don't scrimp on oil cleanser, because that's the important part. It removes what a gel cleanser physically cannot. Budget permitting, I'll follow with the BB lathering tube soap. But…I'll use a cheaper lathering/foaming cleanser before compromising on the oil cleanser. I actually look forward to washing my face.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Became frozen and crystallised? Would not recommend, I've had this product for less than 2 weeks and I keep it in my bathroom like most people do with their skincare. I woke up 12/01/2026 (uk based) at 5am to get ready for a lecture, get myself washed and do my skincare and I woke up to find my oil had became a block???? It was white, blocky, chunky and no longer a liquid!!! It looked like crushed ice, couldn't seem to get through to a complaints team either as I'm not even sure if this is safe to put on my face anymore and considering the price you're paying for something like this you would expect it to stay a liquid after a week, but apparently not. Don't waste your money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Formula change ? I've used this before and would class it as my favourite cleansing product . Ordered again in December and it seems very different. After one use the oil started to solidify in the bottle and by day three it was a white solid product (kept in warm bathroom). I have now managed to get it back to oil state by heating but overall I feel the product has changed and isn't the same luxury product I've used before . Oil seems 'thinner' and fragrance muted . Definitely not worth the price point and I will not be repurchasing. I'm just glad I didn't get the large bottle! Very disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Change of formula? I last bought this a couple of years ago and it was such a luxe product. It seems they have changed the formula, it now has a much thinner consistency and smells like very cheap washing up liquid. For the money it costs it's not acceptable and neither is the cheaper plastic packaging, I'm sure it used to be glass. Will not be buying it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! The best oil cleanser I have used to date. Destroys makeup, doesn’t cloud or sting my eyes. Leaves my skin soft and not at all stripped. I can’t see me using any other oil cleanser now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Changed Formula? Used to use this product and loved it, as it didn't irritate my sensitive skin and was left feeling great. Unfortunately, I recently purchased a new bottle and it has started to cause my skin to break out. This does not seem like the same product I had used previously :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nearly there! Great for sensitive skin, but not great for removing waterproof mascara.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Best cleansing oil on the market right now. I have very dry, sensitive and psoriasis prone skin, so this gentle oil takes off the make up and does not leave any film cast on the skin, it's very soothing and I will repurchase (also lasts ages)
