Perfect for me
This primer is absolutely perfect! It feels incredibly smooth and lightweight on my skin, blends beautifully so there’s no streaks or patches, and creates the ideal base for my foundation. Adhesion is amazing — my makeup stays put all day without separating or sliding, and the longevity is exactly what I needed. It leaves such a lovely, even finish that makes my skin look flawless on its own too. I will definitely be repurchasing!

Not cruelty free
Loved this product until I realised Lancôme still is not cruelty free, they still test on animals which is so easy not to do these days. Huge shame as I loved this product and its silky feel and finish (except the fact you end up with loads of product still in the bottle that you can’t get to).

Fab product by dispenser is so frustrating
This is a brill product, I love it, but there is definitely a design flaw in the bottle/pump dispenser. It is impossible to get all the product out of the bottle using the pump dispenser (believe me I’ve tried!). It would be better in a jar imo.

Fab primer
It’s has been a staple in my make up routine for ages. It glides effortlessly and makes my foundation last longer. Can’t do without it. But it’s becoming more and more difficult to buy it. I hope it’s not going to be discontinued.

Best makeup base primer
Believe me, I have tried a lot of primers over the years, but this is the best yet. I am new to Lancôme, and found this primer is so smooth and really fills in pores and fine lines, helping makeup to stay on and look great

Never worn primer before do you wear before foundation

Yes, a primer is used after moisturiser and before foundation. It's function is to keep your foundation locked in place for as long as possible and depending on what type of primer you choose, it can help to reduce oil break through, shine, increase hydration and prevent dryness. Primers can also help to illuminate the skin, blur imperfections and colour correct so there really is lots of factors to take into consideration when choosing the perfect primer for you!
This particular primer is great for smoothing out the skins surface, blurring imperfections, controlling shine and helping your make up to last longer.
Beauty tip - if you have combination skin, you can apply two or even three different primers to your face in different areas before you apply your foundation, depending on what needs targeting. Always wait a few minutes after applying your primer before you apply your foundation to allow the primer time to dry and become tacky in preparation for the application of your foundation.
