How to choose between Tatcha Water Cream or Dewy Cream?

While both moisturisers deliver long-lasting hydration and contain our proprietary Hadasei-3 complex, each is formulated for different skin types. Those with dry to combination skin might prefer the rich texture of Dewy Skin Cream, which delivers deep hydration, visibly plumps fine lines, and reveals a dewy glow. Formulated with a skin-smoothing BHA alternative, The Water Cream provides lightweight, all-day hydration and long-term oil reduction, making it ideal for combination to oily skin.

What order should I use my Tatcha products?

While the steps in your skincare ritual may vary in the morning versus the evening, it is always best to apply them from the thinnest to thickest texture, and any water-based formulas should be applied before those with an oil base. Your first step should always be to cleanse your skin. In the morning, follow with The Essence, a serum if needed, eye cream, your favourite Tatcha moisturiser, and finally sunscreen. In the evening, we recommend double cleansing - also known as the Kyoto Cleanse - with the Tatcha cleanser of your choice, followed by The Rice Polish. Then follow the same order of steps as in the morning, minus sunscreen.
